Your camping photos are inspirational - it is a goal of ours, too, to do much more camping this year (we won't start for a couple more months, however - although some do, I can't camp in the snow!)... oh, wow - that's so hot though, it never ever gets that hot here! Maybe 40C at the very very worst. Although we hit -23C a couple days ago, so I would trade for a bit ;)

I also loved your thoughts on homeschooling, it seems we go through the exact same thinking. I've been wanting to keep with some sort of structure, yet still be flexible. I've also been wanting to read more to them during the day, but they're playing so happily or so absorbed in some craft or project, it's hard to stop them! The thing I try to make myself do, is read to them when (or hopefully) before they get fussy or board. Usually it recharges them and shifts their mood if they need it.

thanks for the thoughts and pictures!

ps - Silly fact: although I grew up in the mid-west U.S. with "Duck, Duck, Goose", here in Minnesota the children play "Duck, Duck, Grey Duck"! (the only place in the country that calls it that!) :)christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08657342030424061505noreply@blogger.com
